Costco is heading into the busiest stretch of its expansion year. 11 new U.S. warehouses and business centers are on the calendar between October 2026 and early 2027, including two business centers.
Here is every confirmed U.S. opening still ahead, plus the locations already in the pipeline behind them.
October 2026
Lee’s Summit, Missouri – October 2, 2026
- The first of the fall openings, serving the fast-growing southeast side of the Kansas City metro.
The Colony, Texas – October 2026
- Listed on Costco’s own new-locations page for October, with the exact day still to be announced. It adds another Dallas-Fort Worth option between Frisco and Plano.
Amherst, New York – October 28, 2026
- Buffalo is one of the genuinely new markets Costco called out for this expansion year, rather than an infill near existing warehouses.
- Amherst had been rumored for an August debut earlier in the year; Costco has since confirmed the later October date.
Lawrence, Kansas – October 29, 2026
- Another brand-new market for the chain, and the second opening in the Kansas City region this month after Lee’s Summit across the state line.
Camarillo, California – October 30, 2026
- Closes out the month in Ventura County, giving members between Oxnard and Thousand Oaks a closer option.
November 2026
Five more follow in November. Costco has confirmed the locations but not yet the individual opening days.
South Meridian, Idaho – November 2026

Vallejo, California – November 2026
- Fills in the North Bay between the Fairfield and Richmond warehouses.
Chandler, Arizona (Business Center) – November 2026
- This is a Business Center, not a standard warehouse, taking over a site on Alma School Road.
- As the Valley’s second Business Center it skips the food court and rotisserie chickens, but adds restaurant-size packs and business delivery.
Newport News, Virginia – November 2026
- Costco’s return to the Peninsula side of Hampton Roads, an area members have been asking about for years.
Franklin, Wisconsin – November 2026
- A southern Milwaukee County location that shortens the drive for members currently heading to Greenfield or Pleasant Prairie.
Early 2027
Haltom City, Texas (Business Center) – Early 2027
- Costco confirmed a Business Center and fuel center at 4909 NE Loop 820, the first Business Center on the west side of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
- It targets the dense cluster of independent restaurants and service businesses around Haltom City, Fort Worth and Keller.
Further Out: What Costco Has Signaled for Fiscal 2027
On its most recent earnings call Costco said it plans 33 new warehouses in fiscal 2027, five of which are relocations.
Costco does not confirm opening dates more than about three months out, so the following U.S. sites have been reported locally as approved or under construction but have no announced date yet:
- Scottsdale, Arizona
- Downey and Fresno, California
- Lake St. Louis, Missouri
- Southborough, Massachusetts
- Silver Spring, Maryland
- Des Plaines, Illinois
- Charleston County, South Carolina
- Hillsborough County, Florida
- Pompano Beach, Florida (targeted for fall 2027)
Recently Opened
Three warehouses that appeared on earlier versions of this list are now open for business: Guilderland (Albany), New York opened August 6, Stone Mountain, Georgia opened August 27, and the spring 2026 group in West Roseville and North Visalia, California; Liberty Hill, Forney and New Braunfels, Texas; and South St. George, Utah is all trading.
