Some items are older models being replaced, some are seasonal products heading out the door, and others simply haven’t sold fast enough. Here are the September Sam’s Club markdowns worth checking—and a few I’d wait on.

A newer Sam’s Club Nespresso bundle appears to be pushing this version out.
That’s good news if you don’t care about having the newest package.
The outgoing bundle has been spotted around $99.91 and includes the machine, milk frother, coffee capsules, and promotional coffee credit.
It was around $129 earlier in the summer.
You’re basically getting the same coffee experience while letting someone else pay extra for the newer box.
6. Shokz OpenRun Pro Headphones

This is exactly where buying last year’s technology starts making sense.
The Shokz OpenRun Pro headphones have fallen from about $119 to $79.91 while newer versions move into the lineup.
For runners, walkers, cyclists, and anyone who prefers open-ear headphones, nearly $40 off is meaningful.
These don’t suddenly stop working because a newer model exists.
7. Shokz OpenFit Air Earbuds

This little vacuum has been slowly sliding down the clearance ladder.
It started around $50, dropped to $29.98, and has now been spotted at $24.98.
It weighs less than a pound and is designed for quick cleanups in cars, drawers, couches, and tight spaces.
This is also one of the items where clearance coding was spotted directly on the warehouse tag, so once remaining inventory sells through, it may not be coming back.
10. Member’s Mark Sandbox

Was: $59.84
Buying outdoor toys after summer is rarely exciting—until the price falls this much.

If you have younger kids, this is exactly the sort of purchase that can make sense to grab now and store for next spring.
You’re paying less than half the original price.
11. Member’s Mark Oversized Cowboy Hat Lake Float

This may be the most ridiculous markdown on the list.
The oversized cowboy-hat lake island originally carried a price close to $250.
September clearance has pushed it down to around $70.91.
No, you probably don’t need a giant cowboy hat floating in your pool.
But saving nearly $180 has a funny way of making giant floating cowboy hats seem much more reasonable.
12. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 70 3-Pack

Summer is ending, but sunscreen doesn’t suddenly become useless.
Sam’s Club has been clearing three-packs of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 70 for just $7.67.
The important part here is checking the expiration date.
Packages spotted during the clearance had dates extending into 2028, which means they could easily be stored for next summer.
At less than $3 per tube, this is one of the best practical clearance buys in the warehouse.
13. Reel Life Women’s Long-Sleeve UV Tee
Price spotted: $2.81
Was: $9.98
This is where Sam’s Club apparel clearance starts getting wild.
The Reel Life long-sleeve UV tee has been spotted for only $2.81.
That’s less than many thrift-store shirts.
Sizes and colors will likely be hit-or-miss at this point, but if you find yours, it’s hard to complain about a shirt costing less than a cup of coffee.

A comparable listing was running closer to $75 elsewhere when the clearance was spotted.
Not the flashiest deal in the warehouse—but a useful appliance at a solid price.
17. Samsung 3.1-Channel Soundbar

Electronics are another category worth watching closely this month.

It’s not the deepest markdown here, but the timing matters.
Pressure washers, grills, griddles, pool gear, and patio merchandise can keep falling as clubs need that floor space for fall and holiday inventory.
20. Member’s Mark Griddles
Prices vary widely by club
This is one category where checking your own Sam’s Club really matters.
Shoppers have reported Member’s Mark griddles dropping hundreds of dollars, with some four-burner models spotted near $150 and larger Pro-Series versions appearing around the mid-$200s in certain clubs.
The catch?
Another store may still have the exact same griddle priced $50, $100, or even more above that.

TV clearance is getting interesting too.

This is another markdown worth checking locally.

At that kind of discount, model numbers matter.
Compare the exact vacuum at your club before buying—but this is exactly the kind of category where older models can become dramatically cheaper when new versions arrive.
These Clearance Tags Aren’t Good Enough Yet
Here’s where things get interesting.
A yellow tag doesn’t automatically mean you should throw something in your cart.
Several September clearance items still look overpriced compared with prices Sam’s Club has offered before.

Exciting?

The price only dropped a few dollars, and plenty of inventory remained when the markdown was spotted.
This is exactly the kind of clearance item I would leave on the shelf and check again later.
26. FoodSaver Preserve Vacuum Sealing System
Clearance price: About $83.60
Another example of why knowing the old price matters.
Despite being marked clearance, this FoodSaver system has reportedly sold around $74 previously.
Unless you need one immediately, there is little reason to pay more just because Sam’s changed the color of the price sign.
27. Shark 3-in-1 Steam Mop
Clearance price: About $139
Was: About $179
This looks better at first glance.
Forty dollars off sounds respectable.
The problem is that a newer Shark model was appearing around the same $140 price point.
If the old model eventually drops under $100, the calculation changes.
At $139, I’d keep walking.
The Sam’s Club Clearance Trick Worth Knowing
Sam’s clearance pricing can vary enormously from one club to another.
A product selling for $250 in one warehouse might still be $330 at another. Inventory levels matter too: a club sitting on an entire pallet has far more incentive to keep dropping the price than a store with two boxes left.
And don’t assume a price ending in .91 automatically means the item can never get cheaper.
It can be a useful clue that you’re looking at clearance merchandise, but local markdowns can continue.
The better strategy is simple:
Check the price, look at how much inventory is left, compare it with the previous selling price, and scan the item in the Sam’s Club app before buying.
