Costco Lasagna Nutrition Facts
As you can see from the table above, these lasagnas are packed full of some pretty rich ingredients. So, it should come as no surprise that they’re pretty high on the calorie scale. Check out this table showing the nutrition information for each variety.
Type | Serving Size | Calories | Fat | Cholesterol | Protein | Sodium | Carbs |
KS Beef Lasagna | 1 cup | 330 | 15 g | 60 mg | 20 g | 710 mg | 30 g |
KS Italian Sausage and Beef Lasagna | 1 cup | 410 | 22 g | 80 mg | 23 g | 890 mg | 30 g |

Stouffer’s Vegetable Lasagna | 1 package | 400 | 19 g | 30 mg | 17 g | 710 mg | 41 g |
By and large, lasagna isn’t actually the healthiest thing in the world. It’s certainly delicious, comforting, and filling, but when it comes to its fat, cholesterol, and sodium content, it definitely scores higher on the tastiness scale than on the health scale.
Of the lasagna varieties sold at Costco, Amy’s Organic Vegetable Lasagna is the healthiest option, though it’s still quite high in sodium. The Kirkland Signature varieties are much higher in sodium and cholesterol, and the Italian Sausage and Beef variety in particular is also higher in fat.
How To Make Costco Lasagna
All of Costco’s lasagna options are sold frozen, but the great news is that they don’t require thawing before cooking. In fact, the package indicates that these lasagnas should not be defrosted before baking. Simply throw them in the oven when you’re ready to bake, and you’re good to go.
To make either of Costco’s Kirkland Signature lasagnas, simply follow these steps:
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Keep lasagna frozen until you are ready to bake
- Remove lasagna from freezer and remove its outer packaging and label (do not bake with wrapper on)
- Remove aluminum lid and bend at the center to form a tent, then replace onto the tray
- Bend the corners of the aluminum lid around the edges of the pan to secure
- Place pan on baking sheet on the middle rack of your oven (do not place directly on oven rack in case of spillage)
- Cook for 1 hour and 55 minutes, then check. If more cooking is desired, you can replace the lasagna in the oven for another 10 minutes. Center should be 165°F.
- Remove aluminum lid for the last 15 minutes of the bake to brown the cheese on top
- When finished baking, remove from oven and place somewhere to cool for about 12 minutes
Note: Since ovens vary, cooking times may also need to be adjusted. The lasagna should be cooked until the center reaches 165°F, which can be checked using a kitchen thermometer.
