How To Return Apple Products To Costco
Returning your Apple product to Costco works a little differently than returning other kinds of products.
All Apple products must be returned in person to a Costco Warehouse location. Costco does not accept returns of Apple products online. Find out where your nearest Costco location is by using the Costco store locator tool.
To return an Apple product to a Costco Warehouse, follow these steps:
- First, Costco requests that all Apple products returned to their stores be wiped of all customer data (if you do not wipe your device, you will be expected to at least disengage the “Find My Device” feature – for information on how to do this, click here)
- If you have them, gather your original purchase receipt or packing slip, your item’s packaging, as well as all of your item’s original accessories, such as headphones, chargers, cases, etc.
- Bring everything with you to any Costco Warehouse location
- Bring your item to the returns counter and let them know you would like a refund
- The employee at the returns counter will walk you through the rest of the process
- If your return request is granted, you will receive a refund for your purchase to your original form of payment

Returns Without Receipts
According to Costco’s return policy, a receipt is not necessary to be eligible for a return. As long as you have an active Costco membership, your purchase can be tracked in the system and your refund will be processed using this record.
