If only these boozy Easter eggs would hop across the pond!
Valentine’s Day has passed, and that means Easter chocolate, jelly beans, and Peeps will soon be taking over the seasonal candy sections in all of our stores.
But over here at the Aisle of Shame, we’ve developed a serious case of chocolate Easter egg envy.
Whose chocolate Easter eggs are we jealous of?
Those British Aldi shoppers, again! They get all the cool stuff first.
Aldi UK has introduced these amazing new Easter eggs infused with gin and Prosecco.
Yep, you read that right, folks. Gin and Prosecco Easter eggs.
These beauties are from the Moser Roth brand that is also sold at Aldi stores in the U.S. But unfortunately, we don’t think we’ll be seeing these particular eggs anytime soon.
The white chocolate egg is infused with Greyson’s pink gin and juniper.
The milk chocolate egg is made with Prosecco Superiore DOCG and raspberry.
These eggs are in Aldi UK stores now, so if you’re headed to the U.K. anytime soon, you may be able to snag one!
The Aldi boozy Easter eggs are selling for about $7.50 U.S.
Aldi says the eggs contain “powdered alcohol,” so they can only be sold to adults.
