You’ll want to keep an eye out for these April Aldi Food Finds!
April is shaping up to be one of our favorite months to be an Aldi shopper! In addition to some great gardening finds and Mother’s Day gifts in the Aisle of Shame, you’ll find a huge selection of fun, new foods to try in store. The month starts with German Week and ends with a week of Mexican and Latin American flavors.
We have a preview of some of the most interesting April Aldi Food Finds for you! Let’s jump right in!
Specially Selected Cherry Chocolate Chip Cake – April 7
Aldi kicks off April with a bang, bringing in plenty of German items for its twice-yearly Aldi German Week. This “German Luxury Cake” is a riff on black forest — a chocolate cake layered with chocolate chip and Morello cherry infused mousse, with a cherry glaze on top. You’ll find these in the freezer at Aldi for $6.99
Deutsche Kuche Sweet Bavarian Mustard – April 7
This grainy, sweet mustard is so good that we stock up every time Aldi German Week comes around! We highly recommend you give it a try. It’s great for dipping pretzels and equally good on sandwiches or whisked into sauces. This is high-end stuff at a low-end price tag — just $1.69 a jar. You’ll also find other varieties of German mustards in store.
Park Street Deli Dill Pickle Hummus – April 7
Make no mistake: Aldi’s hummus game is always strong. But in April, Aldi seems to be leveling up. Beyond this dill pickle flavor, you will find caramelized onion and garlic dill flavors priced at $1.95 each.
Barissimo Honey Lavender Ground Coffee – April 14
We’ve seen lavender honey and lavender coffee on the market, but we’re not sure we’ve ever encountered a ground coffee infused with both of these flavors! We’re excited to try this coffee which costs $3.69 and just screams “Spring!”
Southern Grove Gochujang Almonds – April 14
We love the depth of flavor in Gochujang. These almonds sound like the perfect spicy, sweet snack. Aldi will have them mid-month for $4.69. If you aren’t into this Korean flavor, there will also be a Moroccan spice almond available.
Stonemill Umami Seasoning – April 14
This seasoning blend includes mushroom, onion, pepper and spices, in a combo we believe will be a dupe for the Trader Joe’s Mushroom & Company Umami blend. This seasoning is brand new to Aldi stores, and it will be priced at $1.95!
Emporium Selection Scorpion Pepper Gouda – April 14
Aldi is always bringing us new and different cheese, and this Scorpion Pepper Gouda is sure to spice up your next grazing board! You will find it and an apple smoked gouda in stores for $3.49.
Mama Cozzi’s Cauliflower Pizza Snacks – April 21
If you are on a gluten-free diet, you might be missing the traditional frozen pizza snack option in your life. Never fear, because Aldi is bringing you a solution that contains that ubiquitous grain substitute — cauliflower! These are priced at $4.99. As for low-carb diets, we haven’t seen a peek at the macros on these to know if they will work just yet.
Season’s Choice Broccoli & Cheese Veggie Puffs – April 21
Keeping with our frozen snack theme, these April Aldi Food Finds look like they would be great for a quick snack or side to put in the air fryer! These are priced at $2.99.
Casa Mamita Corn Masa Bites – April 28
Aldi starts April with German Week, and it ends it with a week filled with Latin American flavors! These frozen corn masa bites are stuffed carne asada beef and Monterey jack cheese. They are priced at $4.79.
Benton’s Churro Sandwich Cookies – April 28
Aldi surprises and delights with new flavors of creme sandwich cookies all the time, and we know these will be going in our cart the first time we see them. Who doesn’t love a churro? These churro cookies will be priced at $1.95.
Mama Cozzi’s Roasted Street Corn Deli Pizza – April 28
And then, there’s this. We can’t even. Thin crust pizza with a white cheddar sauce, mozzarella cheese, roasted corn, red onion, jalapeno, cotija cheese, and chili lime seasoning? Yes, please! This take-and-bake pizza is priced at $4.79.
Fremont Fish Market Chipotle Shrimp Street Taco Kit – April 28
These street taco meal kits come with the tortillas, seasoning, shrimp and sauce needed to serve up dinner in about 20 minutes! These April Aldi Food Finds are priced at $9.99.
Specially Selected Chocolate Truffle Hearts – April 28
In addition to the Latin American flavored foods coming to Aldi at the end of April, our favorite store is also bringing us some great Mother’s Day food finds. These truffle hearts will be a hit with any chocolate loving mom, and for just $3.49, they may cost less than a card!
Emporium Selection Strawberry & Prosecco Wensleydale Cheese – April 28
Aldi is also bringing us a Mother’s Day cheese collection in 2021! This Wensleydale Cheese has strawberry and prosecco — it would be a great compliment to a Mother’s Day brunch spread. This is priced at $3.99.
