Some Costco dinners save you from cooking. The better ones save you from figuring out what to cook in the first place. These newer, returning and buzzworthy finds can turn a hectic night into dinner with surprisingly little work.
1. Burnett & Sons Beef Sauerbraten
Price: $19.99 for 32 ounces
This is one of the newest Costco dinner finds on the list. The German-style beef is already slow-cooked, so you’re getting the kind of dinner that normally takes hours without having to start marinating meat days ahead.
Serve it with potatoes, noodles or vegetables and call it done. Recent warehouse tracking shows it at $19.99 and stocked at hundreds of Costco locations.
Why we’re watching it: It only started appearing in August, and shoppers are already talking about going back for another package.
2. Kirkland Signature Beef and Chicken Fajita Kit
Price: About $7.93 per pound on Costco Same-Day
This isn’t the older taco kit everyone already knows. Costco’s newer fajita setup includes both grilled beef and chicken, peppers, onions, 12 tortillas, salsa, cilantro-lime crema and cooking butter.
Everything that normally covers your cutting board is already handled. Dump the meat and vegetables into a skillet, warm the tortillas and dinner is basically ready.
Even better, Costco is currently advertising $10 off per package through September 27, which makes this one especially interesting right now.
3. Kirkland Italian Sausage and Pasta in Wine Sauce
Price: About $5.49 per pound
This one disappeared for years and finally came back, which explains why Costco shoppers noticed so quickly.
The tray combines orecchiette pasta, Italian sausage, spinach, grape tomatoes, Parmesan and garlic wine sauce. Instead of boiling pasta, browning sausage and making a sauce separately, you heat one tray.
Recent Costco coverage has been especially positive about the comeback, and roughly four-pound trays have been landing around the low-$20 range.

This isn’t just another deli salad. Costco brought it back after an absence of nearly a decade, and the return immediately sparked shopper chatter.
It combines penne, chicken, feta, Kalamata olives, artichokes, tomatoes, red onion and Greek dressing. No oven. No skillet. No waiting.
It works particularly well for nights when everyone is eating at different times because you can simply scoop out what you need and put the rest back in the refrigerator.
5. Costco Gyro Meal Kit
Price: About $6.99 per pound, usually $20 to $23 per kit
The gyro kit made a comeback in 2026 and quickly became one of Costco’s more interesting takeout alternatives.
You get pita, shaved beef-and-lamb gyro meat, red onion, tomato-cucumber salad, lettuce, feta and tzatziki. Warm the meat and pita and let everyone build their own.
It can stretch to roughly six servings depending on appetite, making the price much easier to swallow than ordering individual gyro plates.
6. Kirkland Braised Beef with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes
Price: $7.89 per pound
Braised beef is great when somebody else spends hours braising it.
Costco’s version comes fully cooked alongside Yukon Gold mashed potatoes. Heat it, add a bagged vegetable or salad and you’ve got the kind of comfort-food dinner that usually requires considerably more work.

7. Kirkland Chicken Sandwiches on Pretzel Buns
Price: $5.49 per pound
These started showing up in August and are an easy one to overlook if you head straight for Costco’s traditional hot meals.
The deli packs chicken sandwiches on chewy pretzel buns with sauce included. Recent warehouse videos put a package of six at roughly $15.
Warm them, add pickles or a quick salad and dinner doesn’t need much more thought than that. Current warehouse tracking shows the sandwiches at nearly every reporting Costco location.
8. Kirkland Burrata Salad with Balsamic Dressing
Price: $7.99 per pound
This September arrival is already getting considerably more attention than the average Costco salad.
The container comes loaded with spring greens, grape tomatoes, Kalamata olives, parsley, burrata and balsamic dressing. Add crusty bread, sliced prosciutto or whatever cooked protein is already in the refrigerator and it can become dinner without touching the stove.

10. Antico Casa La Pizza Artigianale Italiana
Price: About $12.59 for two
Frozen pizza isn’t exactly groundbreaking. This one is interesting because it feels much less like the standard giant warehouse pizza.
The two-pack of Margherita-style pizzas has a bubbled crust, tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil and olive oil. Add a salad and you have pizza night without delivery charges or another oversized pepperoni pie.
It was highlighted among Costco’s new September freezer finds specifically as an elevated busy-night option.
11. Bibigo Korean Style Crunchy Chicken
Price: About $14.69 for 56 ounces
This is the freezer shortcut I’d reach for before Costco’s new deli Honey Sesame Chicken.
The chicken cooks in the oven or air fryer and comes with separate sweet-and-spicy sauce packets, so you can keep the coating crisp instead of drowning everything before it cooks.
Put it over microwave rice, throw some cucumbers or broccoli alongside it, and you’ve got a takeout-style dinner with very little cleanup.
The product has been popping up across September Costco videos, and recent warehouse data shows it stocked at hundreds of stores.
12. Kirkland Signature Garlic Butter Shrimp
Price: $15.99 for two 1-pound bags
This is what I like in a Costco shortcut: one product, several completely different dinners.
The shrimp are already peeled, deveined and coated in garlic butter sauce. One night they can go over pasta. Another night, rice. Another night, crusty bread with a salad.
Costco packages them in two separate one-pound bags, so you don’t have to cook the whole two-pound box at once. Warehouse tracking currently shows the product at $15.99 and in stock at more than 90% of reporting locations.

This has quietly become one of the better Costco answers to the “should we just order Indian food?” conversation.
The package contains two separate pouches of chicken in creamy tomato curry sauce. It is fully cooked and can be ready in about five minutes.
Make microwave rice, warm some naan and dinner is done.
Current warehouse tracking shows the regular price around $15.99 at many locations, while Costco Same-Day lists the two-pack at a higher delivered price.
14. Royal Asia Coconut Shrimp with Sweet Thai Chili Sauce
Price: Around $16.99 where available
These are sold as an appetizer, but they’re much more useful than that.
Air-fry the coconut shrimp, make a quick bowl of jasmine rice and add bagged slaw or snap peas. Suddenly it looks much more like dinner than party food.
The sweet Thai chili sauce is already included, so you’re not opening six bottles trying to build a sauce after work.
One caution: availability is more limited than several other items on this list right now, so treat this as a “grab it if you see it” Costco find.
15. Kirkland Grain and Celery Salad with Apple Cider Vinaigrette
Price: Around $15 on Costco Same-Day
This is the break from all the pasta, breading and heavy prepared meals.
The salad mixes quinoa, chickpeas, bulgur, kale, cabbage, celery, carrots, cranberries and almonds with apple cider vinaigrette. Add leftover chicken, salmon or shrimp and dinner doesn’t require cooking another side dish.
The reason it made this list now: a Serious Eats food editor recently called it her favorite prepared Costco food, praising the mix of crunchy and tender textures and how well it holds up for multiple meals.
