Have you tried the salmon burgers from Costco? If not, you should!
For 12 generously sized salmon burgers, you’ll pay less than $20, making each burger patty about $1.60. However, if you shop online, you’ll pay a bit more, bringing the price slightly above $20.
Trident Seafoods Wild Caught Alaska Salmon Burgers are available in the Costco frozen section for $18.99 a package. If you shop online at Costco.com, you can expect to pay $22.99 for the same size package. You also have to spend at least $100 per order to have cold or frozen items shipped to you from Costco.
Each Trident Salmon Burger is made from real salmon filets, not ground salmon.
Ingredients & Nutrition
Each of these salmon burgers contains pink and/or keta salmon, vegetable oil (soybean and/or canola), water, ground onion, salt, potato extract, garlic powder, mustard flour, white pepper, beet juice, annatto, rosemary extract, mesquite smoke flavor, and lemon juice from concentrate.
These burgers are 100% gluten free. Unfortunately, because they contain vegetable oil and potato extract, they are not technically keto friendly.
In each of these salmon burgers, you will be consuming 170 calories from 9 grams of fat, 60 mg of cholesterol, 330 mg of sodium, 2 grams of carbs, and 20 grams of protein. You will also get a generous dose of Vitamin D (35% of your daily value), as well as trace amounts of calcium, iron, and potassium.
These burgers are a fairly healthy option because they are low in saturated and trans fats, relatively low in cholesterol, and high in protein and vitamins. However, it’s important to be aware that they are also fairly high in sodium.
How To Prepare
First, it’s important to note that these salmon burgers are not pre-cooked, and they must be thoroughly heated prior to eating to avoid health risks. Consuming raw or undercooked fish can easily lead to food poisoning.

Recipe Ideas
Once your salmon burger is ready to eat, you can enjoy it on its own or add it to a favorite recipe.
Sometimes, I like to eat a salmon burger patty with some slices of fresh avocado and a side of gourmet sauerkraut. It’s also delicious if you squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice on top.
You can also cut up your salmon burger and put it on top of a fresh salad, or nestle it inside of a warm hamburger bun along with some lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayo. Try adding some tartar sauce to your burger for that extra satisfying seafood experience.
Trident Seafoods even has their own recipe for salmon tacos made by deconstructing their Wild Alaska Salmon Burgers.
